Code Compliance

Why Code Compliance?

The City of Frost is committed to keeping our community safe, clean, and well-maintained by enforcing local ordinances and property standards. These efforts help protect property values and maintain a high quality of life for all residents.

Code compliance in Frost is handled through an education-first approach. When possible, residents are given the opportunity to correct issues before further action is taken.

Staying in Compliance

Most code violations can be avoided by maintaining your property and following basic city standards.

Common areas of concern include:

• Grass and weeds
• Junk, debris, and outside storage
• Unsafe or deteriorated structures

For full requirements, please refer to the City’s Ordinances and Codes

Report a Concern

If you have a concern about a potential ordinance violation, you may submit a report in one of the following ways:

• Download and submit a written Code Complaint Form to City Hall
• Pick up a form in person at City Hall

All reports are reviewed and investigated by the City.
